Abstract

|
This study tried to measure the effectiveness of the education and the treatment program for the aged through the meta-analysis. For this goal, we conducted the meta-analysis aimed object or the aged from 1999 to February 2011. According to the analyzed result, the average effect size of the education and the treatment programs for the aged presented medium sized effectiveness, 0.621. This average effect analysis showed that the highly-effected subject groups were the diseased
elderly and integrated objects, the elderly school, the metropolitan city, the aged over 80, leisure activities, the treatment period between 1st and 8th weeks, over 120 minutes long treatment, and the group remembrance by programs.
